SHILLINGTON, Pa. – The Governor Mifflin School District community is being alerted about a fire on the property of the high school.
A school district official confirms there was a fire in the portable buildings behind Governor Mifflin High School on Thursday morning. There is no damage to the High School.
"There was lots and lots of fire trucks that responded to this b/c of the type of building that it was," said Deputy Chief David Bentz, Shillington Fire Department.
The detached trailer behind Governor Mifflin High School is used for specials needs students. It was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
