Arnold Police are investigating the theft of tools from a box truck parked outside a charitable pickup area at Merchandise Pickup Services, 135 Manufacturers Drive.

At about 3:40 a.m. Jan. 8, surveillance video showed a black, four-door sedan drive onto the parking lot and then a man get out of the car and appear to try to open vehicle doors. The man allegedly smashed a window on a 2019 Isuzu NRR box truck and removed the tools, the report said.

The tools were valued at more than $800, and the damage to the truck window was estimated at about $350, police said.

As of Jan. 20, none of the tools had been recovered, and the man and car had not been identified, Cpl. Brett Ackermann said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
